At just 12" tall, these rich-colored gems are great for borders, rock gardens, or containers, and attract pollinators and other beneficial insects. The flavor and scent of the edible leaves and flowers is floral, citrus, and spicy. Signet marigolds have long been used to add flavor and color recipes. Infuse in oil and vinegar for a salad dressing, or chop and use as you would tarragon. Fairly drought tolerant. Deer and rabbit resistant.

Great germination rate! Once we thinned out the seedlings, the biggest seedlings really started to take shape super quickly. Can't wait for the first blooms.

Good price, packaging, and delivery. But the vast majority of the seeds didn't grow. Not sure if this was because of the way I planted them, the soil, or something else. I tried three different types of marigold seeds and had the same problem with all of them. In the future, I expect to purchase small marigold plants rather than marigold seeds.
