I live in Zone 4b on Lake Superior in Northern MN. Direct sowed these poppies in mid-June and got my first bloom around 55 days later. Love them!

After struggling with in-ground poppies for years, this was the one to break my bad streak! I sowed very late (mid-March) in an admittedly colder than usual zone 6b, and they are now blooming just after the official start of summer. Tall stems! I thinned less than the suggested 8 inches and am feeling that was the right idea since we get strong winds.

Really good experiece with the company! They had actually semt me a free pack of seeds in addition to the poppies. I did not realize and thought i got the wrong pack. I emailed and they immediately said they would get me the right thing. Shortly after, i realized it was me who lade the mistake and not them. They were nice when i corrected myself. Lovely people over there

They all started to grow, but unfortunately none survived outside. Planted in the early spring (post frost) in MA.
