Product Details

White Swan' is the perfect name for this graceful echinacea, a natural selection from white-flowered variations of the native, purple echinacea. Its flowers attract butterflies and other pollinators, while birds enjoy the seeds. The cone-like seed heads also add a nice architectural touch to the winter garden. A long-lasting cut flower, it adds a sparkle of white to floral arrangements.

These were finicky little plants to get going. I started them indoors Jan of 2023. I’d say about 75% germination. Planted outdoors in spring. Only about half made it but the ones that did - WOW! No blooming the first year, but prolific blossoms year 2. Zone 8b, western Washington state. Be patient and give the seedlings plenty of light and good starter soil.

Your website was easy to navigate and the information provided was very helpful. This is my first time ordering seeds from BI. The seed packets are very beautiful and it grows my excitement for seed starting in early spring. I look forward to seeing how well my seeds germinate, grow and bloom in my garden this next growing season!
