'Sunspot' makes large dramatic cut flowers, container plantings or a short annual hedge. Sunflowers are edible, with a bittersweet flavor.     If you want huge flowers on a small plant then try Botanical Interests Sunspot Dwarf Sunflower Seeds. Plants grow to about 16 to 20 inches tall and produce a flower that easily grows to 7+ inches across. Get some!

    Seed quality of the Sunflower variety purchased is suspect. Packet included maybe 16 seeds and the germination rate was poor

    These are super pretty. Mine definitely is a dwarf unlike some others. It doesn't look exactly like the package photo, but it's still a beautiful flower. I'm not sure if it's going to produce more than one bloom, but it's definitely not tall enough to cut for a vase without taking the entire plant. This is the frist to bloom of all of my sunflowers, TBD on how long the bloom lasts. Beautiful golden flower
