My first nigella in zone 9b!!! I will grow so many more next year! They are the cutest! I had to cold stratify them way back in the Nov/Dec/Jan time for April blooms but high germination!! They are so cute!!

These are beautiful and easy to grow. I started the seeds in the Fall and let them overwinter in the garden. They started blooming a few weeks ago. Some are true blue like bachelor buttons and some are pale blue and even green. They form really cool looking seedpods that you can also use in bouquets.
