The bright green, crisp leaves of this 1793 European heirloom are dappled with stunning red freckles to add color and life to your salad! Freckles romaine lettuce has a slightly bitter flavor with a clean, mild finish and grows in a lovely vase-like shape. It is slightly more heat tolerant than some romaine varieties and an excellent addition to your salad garden.
