Hardiness: Perennial in USDA zones 6–10; often grown as a frost-tolerant annual; transplanted in late summer/fall for blooms in fall, winter, and the following spring.

    Really striking variety of colors from this mix, ranging from white with blue touches all the way to deep purple. I winter-sowed these seeds in January 2024 and had strong germination, then planted them out across my vegetable and flower beds in April for early-season color. Pansies normally slow their blooming with hot weather, but probably half of them are still actively flowering in late July in zone 6a.

    Followed planting instructions exactly planting the seeds in seed trays in my greenhouse. Only a single seed germinated l, grew a tiny stem, them withered and died....
