This heirloom chive produces bright green, slender, hollow leaves with a lovely onion-like flavor. In late spring to early summer, pink pompon-shaped edible flowers appear. While it's a hardy perennial in zones 4-8, it's usually grown as an annual staple herb for culinary enjoyment.
