Brazilian vervain was new to me, as was gardening from seed in general. Took a while to really grow in size, but when it did, there was a bounty of tall stems topped with beautiful, delicate flowers. And the sparse foliage made it a great flower for cutting and throwing into bouquets for myself, family and friends. (Seen here with calendula.)

Everyone who saw the flowers were delighted by them. I may be growing this flower every year from now on!

Took some effort and patient, had to cold stratify. And germinate very slow. Give it time like a month lol. Don’t throw away just wait and don’t let it dry out. Heat from sunny site or in greenhouse helped. Very satisfying that they made it. Let’s hope it makes it thru winter! Btw Al the zinnias in the photo also from here and they’re the amazing giant type! Love you guys for all these great seeds.
