Product Details

'Benary's Giant' blooms are truly giant at up to 6", and come in a rainbow of eye-pleasing colors for an impressive backdrop in your garden. Blooms are densely petaled, very long-lasting, and hold up well despite rain and summer's heat. Flower beds come alive as butterflies and other pollinators come to visit these vibrant flowers. Zinnias are edible, but have little flavor. The colorful flowers can make a pretty garnish to salads, desserts, cold drinks, or serving trays. (The flower's central disk, while edible, can be bitter.) The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers named 'Benary's Giant' series their very first Cut Flower of the Year in 1999.

Overflowing blooms well into the fall

Just wanted to say this year has been my best year growing zinnias. Earlier this summer I ordered this set along with the California giants set, the fireball, and a few others and all have been super successful. As you can see the butterflies have been all over. I live in the Bahamas and the monarchs always arrive for the winter in my neck of the woods and stay till spring. I was so happy to have these beauties stay flowering well into the fall for us because the monarchs have been all over them. Will definitely be ordering a ton for next summer!

    Hey Allen,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! What an incredible success story with your multiple zinnia varieties creating such a butterfly paradise in the Bahamas!

Your photos showing those butterflies enjoying the blooms are gorgeous, and it's so wonderful that these beauties kept flowering well into fall to welcome your seasonal monarch visitors! That extended bloom period really makes all the difference for creating those pollinator havens that support wildlife migration patterns.

Your multi-variety zinnia success and monarch butterfly sanctuary will be so inspiring for other gardeners who want to discover just how rewarding and long-lasting Benary's Giant Blend Zinnia Seeds can be for creating those spectacular pollinator gardens that keep giving back to nature!

    Keep on growing 🌻️

I'm absolutely thrilled with the incredible success of my zinnia patch! These flowers are thriving beautifully and have shown no signs of powdery mildew. By watering directly at the base of the plants, I've achieved remarkable growth. My favorite varieties include Benary's Zinnia, California Giants, Cut & Come Again, Exquisite, Purple Prince, Giant Flowered, State Fair, and Northern Light Zinnia, with Benary's Zinnia leading the pack as my top choice! I sow zinnia seeds directly into the ground during the first week of June, and it’s clear that zinnias are among the easiest flowers to grow from seeds. USDA Zone 6a Highlands Ranch, CO

My zinnias are nearly 5 ft tall and thriving despite the fact that we have relatively dry summer. Deer avoids them !

I have Dalia’s and canna growing with zinnias and it seems like a good company.
