Product Details

Shasta daisy is possibly the oldest hybridized American garden flower. Large, bright white flowers bloom continuously from summer to fall, making it a beautiful addition to any perennial garden. Plants are easy to grow from seed, and long-lived for years of enjoyment. The 3" blooms attract bees and butterflies, and make great cut flowers. Produce colored flowers by placing stems in a water with food coloring!

These shasta daisies are showstoppers! If you start indoors in Jan or Feb, they do bloom the first year after transplanting out (July here in western Washington state, 8b) and get progressively bigger and taller thereafter. You can see the little 2ft tall first year daisies and the 4ft second and third year. You can also divide them and transplant. Really fun, robust and easy to grow.

I planted these not expecting much the first year, just trying to establish. Good a few great blooms. Plants look wonderful, excited for next year.

We love Shasta daisies. At our old house, they bloomed every year around my oldest granddaughter's birthday. They are such as happy flower and so easy to grow.

These cheery flowers begin to bloom in June, right after many yellow daisies are blooming everywhere - each year, they grow so well, I divide more of the clumps to plant in other areas and always have plenty to share with friends. I've had a variety appear that only grows about 15 and am wondering what it might be? - same large, happy flowers but much shorter stems
