Why the testing matters
Raised bed testing is not a requirement of the category. That makes independent testing a deliberate trust signal, especially when the bed will hold your soil, your food, and your garden for years.
We put the materials and construction through specific safety, coating, corrosion, and composition checks so you can evaluate the bed with evidence instead of a vague durability promise.

Before you decide
Testing adds a real cost because it requires independent checks across safety, coating, corrosion, and material composition. The value is evidence you can inspect before trusting the bed with your food and your money.
We do not claim to have tested every competing bed, so we do not make an unsupported category-wide ranking. We can show the specific independent testing behind Epic Metal Raised Beds: REACH, Prop 65, ASTM coating and salt spray testing, alloy composition, and steel construction review.
The warranty does not cover preference-based returns, normal surface rust or cosmetic patina that does not affect structural integrity, physical damage from impact or improper assembly, unauthorized modification, use outside the bed's intended purpose, extreme or corrosive soil amendments, fertilizers, chemicals, coastal or marine salt air exposure, unstable ground, or beds sold by unauthorized resellers or as used, open box, returned, or reconditioned.
Coverage lasts for the original purchaser's ownership. Years 1 through 5 provide repair or replacement at no cost for covered defects. From year 6 onward, replacement is prorated: 50% of current retail price in years 6 through 10, 60% in years 11 through 15, and 75% from year 16 onward.
The original purchaser should send photographic evidence of the defect and proof of the original purchase date to Epic Gardening customer support. If the claim is approved, Epic Gardening will repair or replace the bed or component at no cost during the non-prorated period, or at the applicable prorated charge after that period.
