Also known as Monarch of the Veldt due to its prolific presence on the plains of southern Africa, this hardy, practically care-free beauty will keep on blooming through summer's heat where other flowers falter, as the sturdy plant thrives in poor soil and hot, dry conditions. Flowers open to greet the sun on sunny days and follow it throughout the day.
