Product Details

Nothing adds more delight to summer days than the gentle fragrance of sweet alyssum. 'Tiny Tim' is compact and always covered with flowers. A wonderful ground cover, it blooms all growing season with no need to shear back at any time. Alyssum withstands drought and heat, while attracting pollinators. It is an ideal rock garden plant, and gracefully spills over edges of containers. Edible flowers have a mild, grassy/mustardy flavor; the clusters make a charming garnish to salads and desserts.

Tiny Tim is an accurate name

Very cute and compact as stated. I planted a bunch of these seeds around the edge of my backyard garden. Before I put a little fence around it, my dogs came barreling through and I assume took out all of the seeds. But, one survived and from that one I think I will plant more next year, making sure the garden is properly protected against the 3 rascals!

    Hey Cecily,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Tiny Tim Sweet Alyssum Seeds! We love that you found them as cute and compact as promised! It's amazing that one little survivor made it through the doggy stampede and showed you just how lovely these alyssum can be. Your plan to plant more next year with proper protection sounds perfect - maybe those pups will have to admire the blooms from a safe distance! We're so glad that one tough little plant convinced you to give them another try. Thanks for the great review and here's to a rascal-proof garden next season! Keep on growing 🌻️

I've had such great luck with Botanical Interest seeds! The Alyssum does so well. It just takes off and lasts forever. I love to plant at the edge of beds and the base of larger plants.

Gorgeous flowers. You get a waft of honey and slight jasmine when you walk past it. Scent is stronger when you get a giant clump of flowers like this.

Instead of searching around for seeds a little bit later in the spring, I decided to use your website. I was happy with my purchase.
