    Slow initial growth, excellent results

While I got nervous at first about how slowly the two I planted were growing, they started to pick up the pace after a few months and are now beginning to branch! The plant pictured is actually just a few days post repotting, and it shrugged it off like nothing happened. Great seeds when given time!

    Hey Ezra,

We totally understand that initial nervousness with rosemary - they definitely like to take their sweet time getting established! It's so exciting to hear yours have picked up the pace and are starting to branch now. It looks really healthy in the photo. Thanks for sharing your rosemary growing journey and reminding fellow gardeners that good things come to those who wait! Keep on growing 🌻️

I started my rosemary seeds February 1st in one inch-ish cells. I think I up-potted them into these 3.5" pots around March 1st. This picture was taken 3/22 and they have enough roots I could probably up-pot them again. They are doing great! I'm not sure how many seeds I put in each cell - it was however many seeds came in the packet divided by 6 cells. I know I had a couple cells with two plants and one cell with zero (hence only having 5 plants). I thought about trying divide the doubles, but decided I'd rather have 5 healthy plants than risk damaging the ones I was trying separate. I can't wait for it to warm up enough to put them outside.

Being aware that rosemary has...poor/difficult germination rate, I dumped the whole packet onto this 4in epic 4 cell, and got some germination. Overall pleased, got enough rosemary plants for myself 😊

    Poir germination rate

While I expected a less than 50% rate, I only got two seedlings from the entire package
