Tiny seeds, good germination. I did direct sowing in early winter, it did take a while before the little leaves grew out. I am in Houston Zone 9, but here we have very hot summer and snowing/ icing winter. These baby leaves survived through winter and blooms nonstop in spring. So beautiful…

The Lobelia 'Crystal Palace' seeds germinated easily after I followed the instructions on the outside of the packet. They bloomed a breathtaking blue in a pot in partial shade and kept blooming until frost last year. What a joy it was to walk by it every day! I'll plant more seeds there and in other pots this year.

Planning what to grow is almost as much fun as actually planting and eating.

The picture from the website showed blue flowers. The picture on the seed package showed deep purple flowers. Since I want blue flowers I will give away the seed package to someone else.
