When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. Cold Climates: 2 to 4 weeks before your average last frost date. You can also sow half the seed 4 to 6 weeks before your average last frost date (hoping the last frost is earlier than usual) and sow the second half a week or two after your average last frost date (just to be safe). Mild Climates: Fall through early spring.
When to Start Inside: Not recommended.

It was very easy to grow these seeds. The sunflowers seeds grew so tall and beautiful.

I planted a combination of Save the Bees and Fairy Meadow along my fence. It looks great. It is heavy on the coriander, dill, and borage though, at least in my growing conditions in Ohio. You will definitely need to thin out the borage. It is very large and will take over.

I was pleasantly surprised how easily these seeds grew. I just sporadically threw them on a prepared bed in the middle of July last summer. I’m now ordering more for myself and friends.

We’ve seen most of the different flowers on this mix in our flower bed this summer (it’s mid-July, seeds sown end of May). The sunflowers took off, borage grew like crazy so I had to prune them back so other plants could get some sun. Zinnias are just starting to bloom, and we’re waiting for a few more things. Overall super happy with these. They attracted pollinators for sure, such a delight. Perhaps fewer borage seeds, more of the others? That’s my only complaint, although the bees really loved the borage.
