'Beefsteak' is a century-old favorite not only for sandwiches, but also any dish calling for rich, tomato flavor. Vines are so vigorous (up to 6' or more) you will need a sturdy wire cage to support them and the 1–2-pound fruits! Produces summer to fall.

I have always had great germination with Botanical Interest seeds. Beefsteak tomatoes are no exception. I might start planting only one seed per pot as I always have to thin the extra. Great tomato for slicing and eating and also roasting for later.

I bought all indeterminate tomatoes. I still have not installed the supports for them. We were waiting for the pulleys. Hopefully this weekend we can complete the supports before they get too tall!
