    Patio "choice" is so choice!

I love how the package says "bush" variety! 2nd year growing in containers on my deck and this year I was prepared with stakes and cages! So delicious and prolific but they are higher than my indeterminate tomatoes in my actual garden. I am 5'10" and as you can see from the photo, it's outgrowing me!

    Hey Karolyn,

We're so excited to hear about your amazing Patio Choice Yellow success! That's hilarious that your "bush" variety is towering over you at 5'10" - and even taller than your indeterminate tomatoes! Sounds like you definitely made the right call getting those stakes and cages ready for year two. We love that you're getting such delicious and prolific harvests from your deck container setup. Thanks for sharing your fantastic (and surprisingly tall!) tomato growing experience with us! Keep on growing 🌻️

I don't know why I thought they would be small

These guys are low key insane. I haven't gotten to harvest from them yet, but I have never seen so much fruit on a plan this early. They are bananas. I don't know why I believed they would have a small habit - I even planted one in a smaller pot in hopes of making it even smaller. They have ignored my wishes - they are quite large, sprawling...I am now just trying to contain them before they invade the potato grow bag and overwhelm the potted fig tree I have. lol But it's a good problem to have I suppose!

It's amazing that you're already seeing so much fruit this early - that's a great sign you're going to have an incredible harvest once they're ready. This is a great problem to have! Thanks for sharing this fun update, and we hope those tomatoes taste as impressive as they're performing. Keep on growing 🌻

    Tallest of my micro tomatoes

This tomato has already been trimmed twice for height but keeps growing.

Great vigor in this plant, a little too fast.

Have held off fertilizer for now due to fast growth habit.

Looks to be a great plant for my small garden.

Can't wait to see it outdoors in full growth.

    Prolific and Beginner-Friendly

Last year was the first time I tried growing tomatoes, and wow, these far exceeded my expectations! I started seeds early in an indoor hydroponic system then transplanted, resulting in a very long harvest season.

The one I put in the planter grew over 3ft and the ones put in the garden beds were over 5ft tall! Once the plants started fruiting, I had to harvest often and trim aggressively to keep up with the maintenance.

The fruits tasted bright and had slight acidic flavor, perfect for eating fresh or throwing in salads or pasta. I’m now a tomato convert, and can’t wait to try more varieties this year!
