First year growing these. I bought 2 packets of seeds. I direct sowed them in sandy gravel in mid May. It's the end of July and they are over 6 feet tall. I fertilized with Miracle Gro and Osmocote. I put them on a drip system. These are just absolute show stoppers. The foliage is deep purpley-red and the seed pods are bright glowing red. I'll have these every year from now on. Highly recommend!!

    Give it to the beans

I started indoors and probably should have held out and direct sowed them.
