What a name! 'Oxheart', also known as 'Cuore Di Bue' (Italian for ox heart) is so named because of its shape. It is also known as "pear of Liguria", after the northern Italian region where it has long been celebrated. This heirloom is dense with few seeds, cooks down to a robust, thick sauce, and really shines when roasted. It is also a star sliced fresh atop salad greens or paired with mozzarella and fresh basil leaves.

Wow, what a gorgeous tomato. I started these seeds before a cross-country move. They survived multiple transplants and produced stunning fruits that could either be sliced or cooked down into a sauce. My only complaint is that the production is lower than other heirlooms I've grown. I saved the seeds in hopes that the next generation takes off without the challenges of a cross-country move.

O hearts are my favorite slicing tomato. They grow very willingly. They fruit prolifically. The fruit is so meaty, juicy, and flavorful. They’re a beautiful plant. I have excellent germination rates with these seeds from Botanical Interests.

I love these tomatoes. I'm on my fourth year with the same packet of seeds and they still have great germination. These tomatoes and huge and meaty and delicious! They ripen later in the summer than some others but they are worth the wait.

Haven’t actually grown anything yet. This is my first vegetable garden bed. The packaging was very nice and I even received some free seeds! Each pack explains how to properly space the seeds, so that’s a plus for a first time gardener like myself. Can’t wait for these tomatoes to grow and give an update!

Grew these for the first time this year and I can’t imagine ever not growing them again! They were huge fruits that made a beautiful slicer tomato but were also excellent for saucing due to the low number of seeds. The meaty inside rivaled any beefsteak I’ve ever grown. Fantastic tomatoes, you won’t be disappointed!
