These grew brilliantly. Healthy and producing a lot of flowers per plant. Seems to like things more on the sunny side. Not bothered by a few very hot 100+F days. I’m very happy to harvest the flowers, and they are also beautiful.

Very good germination rate. They bloomed profusely the first year and pretty much self-seeded and returned this year. I interplanted them among kale, squash, garlic. Gorgeous, uplifting, medicinally-beneficial blooms. My chickens love the flowers and I made a wonderful salve last autumn. Good stuff! Zone 8b, WA state.

I planted these last spring and they reseeded themselves this winter so I’ve had blooms since January. The bees are happy to have some flowers in my pretty barren winter garden. By far the easiest flower to grow here in zone 9b!

Calendula is a very popular herb with my customers.

They buy it for its medicinal properties and cheerful colors. It's easy to grow.

It looks great in my personal herb garden also.
