If you want a large, majestic marigold, Crackerjack is a superior blend with a mounding form, consistent height, and sturdy flower stalks. The 4" blooms in tangerine orange, rich gold, and lemony yellow will brighten up your flower bed, path edges, and large container plantings. They make radiant, long-lasting cut flowers and are so easy to grow from seed. African Marigold petals are edible with a slightly bitter, citrusy/spice flavor. They make a pretty garnish on rice, salads, or desserts. For a dazzling contrast, plant next to blue or dark purple flowers. Be prepared for butterflies to visit!

I love the flowers, but they look completely different from the illustration on the seed packet. My flowers are about 2” tops. Not 4” like the back of the seed packet says. I kind of wonder if the seeds are of a completely different variety? They are tall. But I think there might’ve been a mixup somewhere. So, if you buy this, your flowers may not look like the ones on the seed packet.

They have not produced flowers yet but it’s only been 19 days and they’ve grown so much already ❤️

Stake them early! All of mine grew straight up and lodged. I was lazy and didn't stake them until later so some are a bit crooked. Mine were sown in Spring and started putting on blooms in July/August.
