I'm in zone 9b. I bought this last year (maybe?) and planted them as a filler in a partial shade area. They are easy to grow and blooms are very pretty. I've collected some seeds, and I'm also getting more this year!

Very easy to germinate and grow. The flowers are more purple than blue, but they are still pretty. I make so many bouquets and arrangements this year.

This is the fourth year they are coming back. I seeded them in a container here than I took them out, cleaned them up. But these seeds are keep coming every year at the exact location in April (zone 7) and stay a long time. I learned the leaves now, being very careful to do not mow them in the beginning of spring. I love the colors, they are beautiful. Hummingbirds and bees love them.

I’m zone 8a in Georgia and getting cool season annuals to grow and bloom can be a bit of a challenge. Before sowing i read online it’s best to sow them in the fall in the southeast, but seeing i received the seeds in mid winter i just had to toss some in the soil in February and see what happens. They germinated well and to my great surprise started blooming right when the intense heat of summer started to hit here in Georgia. Incredibly there are still some straggler blooms on the plants in AUGUST, (granted the plants do look pitiful at this point in the year). Super excited to sow these guys do when sown correctly in my long flower bed and enjoy the show next year.
