It is heat tolerant which makes it slow-to-bolt, so you will enjoy fresh picked, aromatic dill throughout the season. Dill is an important host plant for caterpillars of swallowtail butterflies.

When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. 1 to 2 weeks before your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is at least 60°F. Successive Sowings: Every 2 to 3 weeks to ensure a continual fresh supply of foliage and seeds.
When to Start Inside: 8 to 10 weeks before your average last frost date. Sow in biodegradable pots that can be planted directly in the ground.

Growing Info
Harvesting: Fresh foliage can be harvested any time until plant flowers. Cut leaves as close to stem as possible. Seeds should be harvested 2 to 3 weeks after flowering begins, after the flower heads have turned brown. Cut flower heads with stem and place in paper bag before seed becomes too mature and falls to the ground. Heads should be placed in bottom of bag and the top of the bag should be tied shut around the stems. Seeds will fall to the bottom of the bag. Store seeds in airtight glass jar.

This dill grew super quick in my raised garden beds, I’m in zone 9b and it only took a couple weeks to have enough dill to use in the kitchen already. I tried to grow a dill variety from the nursery last year and it did no where near as well as this variety!!

These turned out great! The pic actually doesn't do it full justice because I had just harvested a bunch.
I scattered about 15 seeds in a 6 in plastic pot. I actually planted these like 2 months too early, then after a frost and when temps started hitting 70 highs they sprouted and went crazy. Happy with these seeds.

Looks and smells amazing, it has been withstanding the south texas heat very well :) i would really reccomend the tetra dill for anyone in south texas or just in zone 9b
