Product Details

A quick-growing, miniature cabbage that you'll be thrilled to grow and eat! Green Express produces 5" to 6" heads that average 2-3lbs per head, and you'll be harvesting crisp cabbage in as little as 50 days. These small cabbages are great for container-growing or raised-bed gardening but are equally at home in an in-ground garden space.

Surprised by kale, instead of cabbage

Seeds did well germinating indoors and through transplant. However, most ended up being kale (???) And only one of the seeds I transplanted to my garden out of 8 ended up an actual green cabbage. Clearly there was a big mixup when they packaged these seeds. I'd like to grow more green cabbage for a fall crop, but afraid I'll be planting even more kale. Considering I had planted kale already and got even more than I wanted with this seed packet, I'm all kaled out and don't want to risk planting seeds from this packet again.
