I garden in the high desert of New Mexico, so there’s not really anything that is invasive for me. I have to baby plants to get them to survive. For this reason, I really enjoy zinnias, but the Peruvian zinnia are next level. I sowed them one time two years ago, and they now pop up all over my yard. I even have some growing in cracks in my bricks where there isn’t any water! I particularly enjoy the yellow ones added as filler flowers in bouquets, so I am not complaining. They’re very easy to pull if you don’t want them in a particular spot, and they grow nicely in places other plants won’t.
