Product Details

Homegrown alpine strawberries are bushels above store-bought whose flavor can't compare. Wonder Blend bears small red or light yellow, intensely fragrant fruits from late spring/early summer on, taking a break in hot weather. Plants don't have runners, so they won't meander, making them a tidy, delicious border or container contender. If started indoors, you can expect fruit the first year. Replace every 3 years for best production or add a few new plants annually. Perennial in USDA zones 5–9.

Ordered this seed back in November of 2025. I put then in the fridge for 2 weeks and then I planted. The germination rate is pretty good!! They're all doing well, & I'm now preparing to transplant them outside. I'm in zone 8A.

I don't have the greatest set up for seed starting, but these alpine strawberries took off! I wasn't expecting so many plants and now I've got to find room to grow them all!

Planted them inside under a grow light with excellent organic seedling soil mix, kept them watered but the leaves are turning brown! Even when I move the grow light farther and farther away they keep turning brown. I'm afraid all 27 will die before I get them transplanted. Not sure what happened.

These are the first strawberries I have grown from seed! All are growing amazingly under grow lights for 14 hours a day, these seedlings are 33 days old and I cannot wait to watch these babies grow and thrive!

Challenged myself to grow these from seeds this year! They are so cute and sprouted in about 12 days. So excited to see how these work!
