The coconut coir is good, but very expensive especially for general plant use.

Using this as part of a seed starting mix (I'm doing 50% coco coir, 50% compost) and it is working great. Starting to put beets, herbs, and sunflorwers into the garden.

I like this stuff. Lots to still learn.

Excellent product and company!

It's CoCoCoir. Yup. It seems nice. Hydrates well. Hard to say anything more about it as it's just what it says it is. I can enthusiastically say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it!

It makes great bedding for my worms. It also makes a good plant starter!

I love this stuff. so easy to store and use...lightweight. Environmentally friendly. A bit expensive...but I don't have to wait for it to come from the other side of the world or get it from Amazon, which I am doing my best to boycot. I am glad to support a small US business that promotes sane and sustainable living and eating, and appreciate having access to products that have been tested by a face I have seen. I learn alot from the Youtube videos. Thanks, Kevin.

I sowed these two seed trays same time w/ same seeds: basil , tomatoes , and strawberry . The tomatoes are the ones springing up clearly in the cococoir. Sadly, not in the tray using organic potting soil. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens as the weeks roll by and more seed germinate.
Rehydrates wonderfully as directed. Make sure to place cococoir in another container or extra bag when rehydrating—some water leaked out small holes in the bottom. :-) easy fix if don’t outside or on tile.

I used this as a soil amendment and it was great! It’s very convenient that you can soak it within its own bag instead of putting it in a container. The coir expanded very well and had a fine consistency. Once expanded I could easily break it up with my fingers. Will definitely buy again.

I originally got these for my worm bag but I have been using them lately for making my own soil mix. Either way I love the size. Other coir products I can find seem to come in 10 lb blocks which is super hard and also they don't rehydrate well. The urban worm coco coir expands super quickly and is very consistent in terms of coir. The easy sized packages are great for the worm bag or making a small batch of soil.

Loved the product. Of the two pack, one of the bags had a whole in the bottom that i was unaware of before putting the water in it. Of course, the water went all over the floor. Aside from that, I'm happy with the coco core itself and will purchase more.
