Add snapdragon charm to your garden and cut-flower arrangements. A bee magnet, bumblebees climb into the "mouths" and sometimes are completely hidden! Breathtaking when planted in mass. Late afternoon shade is beneficial in hot summer areas. The edible flowers make a pretty garnish on salads, desserts, and cold drinks. Usually grown as an annual, although perennial in USDA zones 5 and warmer. Deer resistant.

I winter-sowed these snapdragons in late January 2024 in milk jugs. They had excellent germination and I was able to spread the seedlings all over our flower and vegetable beds by early April. Most of them peaked at 12" tall, up to 18" at most, but we had a really excellent variety of colors and they continued to bloom until early July in USDA zone 6a.

I put these seeds in the ground 3 springs ago on the late side and in poor soil in a new to me garden, they did come up but we're very underwhelming with only a few plants and only a few flowers per plant, the following year I was surprised they came back from the previous years plants and not from new seedlings, they were decent in their second year but this year they have finally started to shine! They aren't particularly tall but they have plenty of buds all up and down the stems! I live in zone 6 high desert tucked in the north side of a big hill so I'm probably in a much colder microclimate than the rest of my town that seems weeks ahead of my garden so maybe these would shine brighter in a warmer or sunnier garden. My garden is also sandwiched in a 50ft gap between my garage and house so it doesn't get much sun until the days get longer

Very pretty assortment of colors! Using these to attract pollinators around my summer squash plants and the bees just love them!

I love these snaps! I planted them in the fall and was able to harvest off them in March in my zone 10. They are prolific growers after cutting for arrangements. I thought the seeds were a no-go at first because they didn’t sprout for me in the time the package read, but surprised me later on when many seedlings sprouted. Will plant more for next season!
