These blooms are just outstanding. They took a bit longer than the rest of my poppies (I planted as many varieties as I could find this year) but they are *more than worth the wait*. The flowers are HUGE, by far the largest poppy flower I’ve ever seen. It’s about the size of mushed softball (more oval than a perfect sphere). Just stunning and I’m SO happy to have these blooming!! Will purchase from again and HIGHLY recommended to my fellow gardener friends already!!!!

I just want you all to know that after many sad attempts, I've finally cracked the code to growing poppies where you have lots of birds and other wild critters around- stratify for 2 weeks in peat, seed the peat/seed mix on top of soil in a biodegradable pot, and wait for germination. Harden off slightly for 2 weeks, then plop them in the garden! I bought many types of poppies from you this year, and they ALL germinated, and they are ALL going into the garden without me worrying about something eating the seeds, or the temps not being right... and I seeded in the fall so they will be in bloom early spring here in NorCal! The peony poppies are by far my favorite!

What a thrill to see what pops up! These are so pretty. I did the milk jug winter sowing method in January and they did well, even with transplanting. Can't wait to save the seeds and have even more pretty plants next year. 2024 Zone 7A with clay soil in East Tennessee.
