This first-year flowering, dwarf echinacea comes in vibrant colors that will light up the garden. The blooms are loved by pollinators, and the seed cones create interest in the winter garden and attract birds. A great fresh or dried cutting flower. Practically care free, echinacea adapts to heat, drought, humidity, and poor soil. This short blend is a nice addition to patio containers. Perennial in USDA zones 3–8.

These echinacea were touchy to get going. I had about 75-80% germination (just good seed starter mix, heat pad, and a good light source was all I used). No blossoms year 1, but they are show-stoppers year 2. I will definitely try this one again. Zone 8b, western Washington state. They are worth it. Long bloom time!

Healthy looking seeds just sowed them waiting for germination.. was disappointed with amount of seeds hopefully they all sprout

I totally understand your disappointment about the seed count. Echinacea seeds can be a bit larger than some other flower seeds, so the packets might look less full even though they contain plenty of seeds for a beautiful display. We always aim to include enough seeds to give you a nice variety of these gorgeous dwarf echinacea blooms in different colors.
Echinacea can take a little patience during germination - they sometimes need 2-3 weeks to get going, but once they do, they're such reliable performers. These dwarf varieties are especially nice because they give you all that classic echinacea beauty in a more compact form that's perfect for containers or front borders.
We're crossing our fingers that you get great germination from your seeds! Once they're established, you'll have those lovely purple, pink, and white blooms attracting butterflies and adding that pop of color to your garden.
