Product Details

Fairy Bouquet is a charming blend of bright colored, dainty, 3/4" flowers above delicate, airy foliage. Linaria makes an impressive, colorful show when planted in mass, and is also an excellent container filler or border flower that attracts pollinators. Also known as toadflax, and often called a mini-snapdragon because of the resemblance. Cut flowers make darling bouquets. A 1934 All-America Selections winner.

This little plant is amazing. I sowed small pinches in 3" pots last spring indoors. Within a few days they were up and within a few weeks they were blooming. They bloomed for months with one haircut halfway through. We used them in planter boxes by an old farmhouse. Deer ate everything else, but not these. Dry times didn't faze them. They were as cute and pretty as could be. They're nice in small bouquets, too. Highly recommended.

Very pretty when planted in groups. They go out of bloom once it heats up, but then bloom again in late summer/early fall.

I've had heaps of luck with linaria seeds before multiple times but this year nothing... not one single peep of a plant from 6 (six) seed packs. I've been planting for yrs, decades actually. Given it wasn't the best seed yr we've ever had but it most certainly wasn't the worst buy a long shot so i don't know what to say about the linaria seeds we got this yr. In fact, I'm a wee bit baffled as I planted in numerous different locations just to see some growth but nada, zilch, nothing so I'm thinking it was the seeds and not me but hey, you never know. I will, of course, try again next yr.
