Product Details

This may be a blend of shorter varieties, but it's not short on selection. Large and small classic sunflowers, and multi-petaled pom-pom types will brighten your garden, draw pollinators, and make cheery bouquets to embellish your indoor spaces. Branching, drought-tolerant plants will be loaded with sunny yellow blooms from summer to fall. Great in containers or as a short, annual hedge. Fantastic first-time flower for your little elves—oops!—kids to grow! Sunflowers are edible, with a bittersweet flavor. The petals add a pretty pop of color on salads and desserts. The young, sunflower buds are edible, with a flavor similar to artichoke hearts. They can be grilled, marinated, or sauteed for an unusual appetizer or side dish.

    Hey Emma,

What a perfect review! "Easy Peasy" says it all - we absolutely love when gardening feels that effortless and rewarding!

It's fantastic to hear that your Elves Blend Dwarf Sunflower Seeds performed so well in both ground and container plantings. That versatility is one of the things that makes this blend so special - whether you're working with garden beds or pots, these little beauties just seem to thrive wherever you put them!

And that nice variety you mentioned is exactly what we hoped gardeners would experience with this blend. There's something so delightful about having a mix of different sunflower personalities all growing together.

Thank you so much for sharing such a positive and helpful review. Your experience will be so encouraging for other gardeners looking for reliable, easy-to-grow sunflowers that perform well in any setup!

    Keep on growing 🌻️

I ordered these for next year. My little sunflowers get munched on every time I plant. Something finds them tasty. I don’t mind sharing with little animals because they’re running out of turf.

Only 3 seeds grew out of the two packages. I have had good luck with other seeds from Botanical.
