The seeds were easy to start following instructions for indoors and very strong growth right away. I did not top any and should have tried one and I didn’t plant in groups which I think would have been beneficial. They all kept growing and growing and finally bloomed a few weeks ago. It’s not a flashy flower, but it’s nice. They do have some variations in color. Humming birds like them. Fall frost approximately 9/25, Sandy loam Z5a, WI.

Only managed to have two sprout out of two packets - probably my fault (I’m an amateur that just started this year). One is doing really well and the other is trying its best. Will probably try this seed again next year. First time with a vine - really neat to see how fast it grows.

Very cool looking flowers. Everyone will ask you about these! Very vigorous plants. Give them lots of room. They grow very quickly once the weather gets warm.
