Product Details

Tired of flimsy tomato cages that can't handle the weight of your epic harvests? Our Heavy-Duty Tomato Cage Set is here to keep your plants standing tall and proud all season long.

These tough cages are built to last, with heavy-duty galvanized steel that can weather any storm. The open design means easy pruning, harvesting, and airflow for healthier plants.

Say goodbye to the tangled mess of cone cages - our clever two-piece design lays flat for stress-free storage. Stack 'em up and they'll be ready to support your tomatoes, peppers, cukes, and more next season.

The large cage is perfect for determinate tomatoes or topped indeterminate varieties, while the small cage is just right for peppers, eggplants, or compact tomato plants. They even play nicely with 15 gal+ grow bags!

Get ready for stylish, orderly, and insanely productive plants, season after season. Your garden (and your tomato sandwiches) will thank you.

Specification

All shipments contain (2) two-piece square tomato cages per box with instructions.

  • Each Modular, two-piece lay-flat tomato cage is made of heavy duty 5mm galvanized steel wire.

  • The cages have a rust-resistant coating - heavy-duty galvanization won’t flake off like paint or rust like untreated steel.

Sharp legs easily push into the ground, holding the cage firm for even the heaviest loads.

How To Use

The ends of the cage are sharp; wear gloves and use caution when assembling.

Set up your cage as you plant out your tomatoes. First, connect the top section to the bottom section, and then stick the legs into the ground up to the first horizontal. For determinate tomatoes, do not prune. For indeterminate tomatoes, prune to one main stem, let it fall over the top of the cage, and cut off the top before it hits the ground. Prune as needed to increase airflow.

The bottom rung of the cage is not a step. Do not use it to push the cage into the ground.
