So far so good! We have put the raised bed together, it was pretty straightforward. We put cardboard as a base and added wood, last year's plant stalks, kitchen waste and soil. Need more soil, this is pretty huge! Then veggies and mulch. Looking forward to a higher experience this season. Looking forward to the arrival of my second Birdies Bed!

Great raised bed gardening option. Would definitely recommend these raised beds to anyone. Easy to assemble and they look great. Can't wait for warmer weather to start getting plants in the dirt.

I love these beds! Love the color. Love how easy they were to assemble. I bought two of the Original 8-in-1 and assembled them myself. I still need to level out the garden space a bit. These will be for my dahlias (they won’t be planted until May) and will definitely be ordering more for my veggie garden. My husband is especially happy that he doesn’t have to build me beds!

I bought 3 of these and when they arrived I ordered 3 more. I have a sitting wall about 2.5 ft from the fence and I am using these as giant planter boxes to keep the soil off the fence. They look nice and work fine. I have the 2 x 8 ft shape and I did add 1/4 all thread in two places to keep the middle from bulging out.

This raised bed looks so nice! It's a lot easier to put together than I thought it would be, and is super easy to move around. I plan on purchasing another one.
Maria C.
Very happy with my purchase!

very easy to assemble. Only wish I would have ordered more while they were still in stock.
Tina C.
I have my first 6 up, ready for compost and waiting for the remaining 5 beds. This will be an EPIC garden year!!
Susan E.
The 8 in 1 went together so easily and it looks beautiful. Can’t wait until the weather warms up here in Minnesota to get it filled and start planting. Thanks again Kevin.
Jaynee J.
Received in time to fill it with soil and still wait a few more weeks for planting. It’s a great height to support deep tomato plant roots and I can’t wait to use it! The style and color are great. Assembly was straightforward.
Melissa M.
Such a nice product! Haven't put in soil yet as I am in a zone that is still a couple of months out for planting. Very easy to put together. It is easy to scratch painted outside so be careful when putting together. Great product & very reasonable price!
Erin S.
I saved my pennies to get these beds and was soooo excited to get them. They look better in my garden than I expected! My only “heads up” is that even with the protective plastic sheeting, they still get scratched.. at first I was annoyed and then realized I had to let it go and realize that overall you can’t tell. I’m excited to get these babies filled up and planted.

I have a plot in a community garden, and I have redwood raised beds which are about 30 years old and are disintegrating and need to be replaced. One of my fellow gardeners told me about your raised beds, and I decided to try them, because they really are considerably less expensive than the wood ones. I only got two, because I am trying them out. I have one installed (pictured), and have yet to plant anything, but so far I am very happy with them, and looks like I'll be replacing the other beds in due time with your product. Very easy to install, and they look good, too! My garden helper also gives them "thumbs up."

Other than the wait for the shipping delay every thing about this style bed is positive thus far. I am 80 years old so simplicity of assembly and placement is important. It was easy to put together on site, my wife held the pieces as I put the screws in. The bed is very solid and makes a nice statement in my raised bed area. It is now loaded with soil and ready to plant our onions in along with a few companions allowing for plenty of room for bulbing. Based on my experience thus far I would purchase another one when ready.

The beds are all put together & ready for soil & my veggie garden plants. Hubby says it was easy to set up the three planters, the wench was good that came with it. Only complaint was removing the protective plastic, that's when I took over & removed it myself with no problem. All in all I'm very happy with the quality of my planters plus they look awesome! Will be getting a couple of round ones next.

Revamping our garden with Birdies raised beds from the nice folks at Epic Gardening. Wonderful to work with. We went back for more!

Quite happy with the beds. Really like the light green color and tall height. With the modular design I was able to pick a shape where I can reach all sides easily. The metal seems thick and sturdy, pieces assembled well.
Assembly was simple though a bit time consuming. The tall height is great for planting but it does take a lot of soil to fill the the large beds.
The only downside I have so far: during shipping a couple of the beds did not have enough padding, resulting in the powder coating getting scraped off some panels in a few spots. There was one piece of cardboard padding, which was easily ripped through during shipping due to sharp edges. I applied a clear coat to the beds to protect the exposed steel and will need to upkeep this clear coat.

I can’t wait to put my flowers and herbs in it! <3

Greetings from Fabulous Las Vegas! My bed isn’t quite done; I want to add a couple more drip lines for insurance, and then mulch with chipped straw. By this autumn, I should be able to answer definitively how well these Birdies Beds perform in heat.
So far, I can say I am delighted with the quality of the construction: rounded corners, no sharp edges, and a rubber topped edge. Having worked with galvanized metal before, and been cut on it, I appreciated the care and finish of this bed. Assembly was easy. It took me, recovering from a fractured ankle, about a half hour to put it together. (Hey, older people like me, do yourself a huge favor, and treat yourself to a Gorilla dump cart for hauling around soil and stuff. You’re welcome!) My neighbors find this an attractive addition to my front yard, I’m pleased to say. I have already ordered another Birdies Bed.

These are awesome garden beds. They look great, are easy to assemble and install, and are lightweight but strong. Have been very happy with our purchase so far.
Katelin F.
Love how sturdy and easy to put together these beds are. Actually returning ~$400 worth of lumber, fasteners, etc. for making our own beds to by these (also bought 30" beds) because of a Self-Sufficient Me video that showed that after 12 years of use, birdie beds were void of rust or any structural problems... SOLD. Also the metal will help with the evaporation here in the high desert (ABQ, NM) vs. wooden raised beds.
Ramona L.
I love these garden beds. Bought 4 total this year and will be adding more next year. Really enjoy the height of the taller ones. Only got one of the taller this time (the round one) to see how I like the height, plus the rectangular tall ones were out of stock. Will definitely try to get the rectangular ones in the tall options for next time.

We now have a veggie, herb and bird food garden! The raised bed was easy to put together - the instruction were quite clear. Lots of bolts to put together. I think 50!! Constructed it into two pieces indoors, then took these two pieces outside and joined them together. Very light to carry!
Amy B.
Love how easy these beds were to put together! They look great and cant wait to get them planted!!
Ann B.
Easy to put together and looked exactly like the pictures. Definitely would order again.
Nancy C.
Easy to set up and plenty of room for lots of plants!

It went together easily and is very attractive. Thanks!

I just set it up today. Had to wait for all that snow to melt! Now I have to fill it. It was easy to assemble and looks great. Thank you!
JOHN D.
I bought two of the 6 in 1 planters first and liked them so much I bought three more but got the larger 8 in 1 raised beds. I just finished filling them with "composted" material in the bottom and fill dirt then organic soil from several 5 gallon buckets of potting soil I used last year to grow tomatoes and okra. These are awesome! Saw on youtube (James Piglioni's raised beds) an awesome way to make clear hot bed covers so I can start my beds almost a month early this year. Will buy more, but I think the best planters are the 6 in 1's.
Janice O.
First time gardener! The 8-in-1 is a great size, very easy to set up. I was worried it would be too large, but enough space to make mistakes in! The color looks great. Lots of my neighbors have complimented.
Stephanie R.
I purchased this raised garden bed to support my son's dream of having raspberries in our backyard. The Birdie's Raised Bed was so easy to put together, light weight, and seems to be very sturdy. I would highly recommend the investment in this raised bed. (I will certainly be ordering another one.) I am so excited for the snow in our backyard to melt, so we can get gardening again, and bring life to this raspberry dream! Thank you so much Epic Gardening & The Gardening Channel for your inspiration!
Curtis R.
Absolutely the best service and ordering on the phone. Very helpful with info via email too! I purchased some Birdie’s planter boxes and I like them. For the price for my purpose they should be as good as wood and not rot. His book Urban Gardening is amazing! I highly recommend it as a basic gardening book and the ideas in it are innovative and functional.
Stephen M.
I’m super excited to have these Birdies raised beds. Living in a humid subtropical climate, I was reluctant to use typical wooden beds. Once I saw these, I knew they were what I was looking for. I can’t wait to start planting!
Craig W.
I bought two 8 in 1 beds and I am very happy with them. Very easy to set up and very sturdy. I would highly recommend Birdies beds! Took awhile to get them with import delays and such but Kevin and his team always kept me up to date. Support small business!
Joshua C.
They were really easy to put together and are bigger than I expected. I love them already. Well worth the money.

Five months ago I typed into Google 'how high should a raised bed be' and it found Epic Gardening on youtube. From the first video (and I'm sure my reaction was like everyone's) 'WHAT are those beds?' Could not be happier with the purchase (three total now, a couple to go) and excited to see where our garden goes in 2021.
Thank you Kevin for the patient and detailed way you deliver information, I've learned so much from you and just love your site and your videos, could not be happier that google knew to find you :)
Aicha B.
I bought 2 8in1. I love them! Easy to assemble. Will look great in the spring when we are done with all the preparation.
Kathleen S.
Sadly I won't be able to set my Birdies up until next season. Although I'm saving yard, garden, and tree debri to help fill them and will be ready to go when the time comes. I'll share something next season. Looking forward to an Epic Spring.
Lessette M.
It is great and easy to install. I enjoying so much the filling it up process.
Sharon K.
Customer service was super communicative and prompt. Flexible as well. Every question I asked was answered. Items arrived, and while I haven’t assembled them all yet, I tried the first one and it was super easy to put together. Well worth the price. Will probably be buying more next year. Great experience with Epic Gardening. Epic, even.
Deborah R.
Love the way my 8-in-1 Birdies beds look. I have four of the 6-in-1 beds on order. And I hope to add 2 more 8-in-1 beds.
Girija G.
The raised bed is excellent. We finished assembly in 45 minutes and very smooth.
Thank you for providing all the necessary tools.
We will fill it with soil very soon and put a picture very soon.
I follow your channel and I like the information you put very much.
You gave me courage to do gardening!
Thank you very much
Girija from Dallas

Great product. Easy to assemble, they are half full of various fill and settling. Will then get one ready for winter planting the others will wait for February or March planting.
Sandra R.
I love my birdies raised before!!! it’s been such a joy to grow a garden this year and cultivate my own food! The raised beds are amazing I bought to more after setting up my first one I’m so in love with it it looks beautiful
Helen G.
The metal raised garden bed is sturdy. I used it to plant Forever Goldie for privacy and erosion issue. The only thing negative is the protective cover on top was too short. It was not long enough to cover about 8 inches on the top as shown in picture. And one end keeps popping up. Overall I was happy with the purchase.

This is my 3rd Birdie. By the time I'm done designing my gardens, I will have a total of 7 Birdies. I'm looking forward to getting all of them set up. It'll have to wait to spring or summer next year, but, I'm happy to wait. The Birdies look great, work fantastically well: sturdy and easy to install.
Richard D.
The beds are great. The quality shows. Easy to setup. Now for the Veggies .....
David B.
Easy to assemble and everyone that sees it really likes the look of it. Experimenting with square foot gardening in my very first raised bed and Florida garden.
Jeffrey H.
I ordered these in the spring, but they didn't arrive until the fall... I was sad! We moved from Portland Oregon, where we had a pretty good growing season for just about everything, to Bend Oregon where at 3600 feet of elevation, the season is significantly shorter. I have placed a couple of the beds in a greenhouse, and I'm monitoring the soil/air temperature. We have already had nights as low as 14 degrees.
I will dedicate one bed to Asparagus, one to cool temperature crops, and the greenhouse to things that need more heat and time!
The beds went together really easily, they are sturdy enough to handle the soil load, and tall enough to allow for adequate depth when planting!
Wish me luck!
David S.
I received the planter too late to plant this year but it looks beautiful and I can't wait for spring.
Sandra G.
Putting my raised bed together was empowering for me. I am becoming more limited in activities I can do on my own, but this is one I was able to do independently. I love that. I am wanting more beds for my garden. Because of the independence I experienced, I will be ordering more of these.
Amy G.
These are the best beds EVER!!! Nothing compares
Matthew A.
Just as ordered. Looks great and so easy to assemble!
Sandra G.
Easy To assemble Seems strong

Have several raised garden beds from Epic Gardener. Absolutely great products
Timothy M.
Love the raised beds, they look great and are easy to put together
Polly L.
quality is great can't wait to use it

We're first-time gardeners and absolutely loving our Birdies beds. Assembly was a snap and lots of fun (cut the protective strip a little long, it will shrink a bit in the sun/heat). The working height is great for tired old backs or otherwise. Add a kneeler and you're in business. We got a late start this summer (and don't really know what we are doing) but it looks like we might get to eat a few beans, a radish or two, and some lettuce. We're thinking of buying a few more so we can get them ready this fall for an even bigger garden next season. Love the Birdies!
