Been using the Urban Worm Bag for a little over two weeks... worms are absolutely thriving! Set up the bag by following the included instructions, i.e. moist bedding mix and food scraps, plus a little soil from my garden. Added two pounds of red wigglers about four days later. Worried like a new parent the first few days, but the worms acclimated quickly. I'm now able to add a few pounds of food scraps and bedding every few days. Looking forward to my first harvest of worm castings in six months!!

This is an awesome closed flow through worm bag for my situation. I can keep it inside in the basement, and a lot easier to manage then a stackable 3 tote system. Cant wait for the worms to start making castings for the garden.

Great product idea. Sturdy construction and material selection. The team was incredibly helpful and answered questions quickly. I'm very excited to start composting!

So far, so good. I haven't had it long enough to say more than that. However, I can see where the improvements in version 2.0 will be useful when it comes to harvest of the castings. I also am told that the structure that holds the bag has been "enhanced". It seems more than strong enough for the task it is designed for. However, if you try to drag it around while it is full, probably not so much. It's meant to be stationary when it is full. If you are going to be moving your worm bag around a lot, you might want to look elsewhere or consign yourself to building a custom rack for it with pneumatic casters for ease of rolling, unless you are moving it around on smooth floors, then lesser ones will do.

Easy to assemble! High quality materials. Is compact enough to store discreetly out of the way but yields a high volume of space to make compost!

Easy, EASY set up. We are just getting started, excited for this concept and ease of use so far.

Not very sturdy but it’s okay

This is our second worm farm. We got our first one from a different company. We like this set up much more than our original one due to the massive size and its ability hide odors. Thank you!

Super happy with my new Urban Worm Bag and accessories! My first time with vermiculture and this system is super well made and easy to use. Looking forward to high quality worm castings for my garden in the coming months! Terrific products!

I'll admit I was concerned about having a bag of old food and worms inside my house. Well, I set it up in my basement according to the instructions, and added worms and some food scraps. I have to say after the first 2 weeks it's working as advertised, and no odors. Quality construction, and is bigger than I expected. It will be a great way to compost food scraps, and prepare for my garden over the winter. Highly recommend!

I’m just starting out so I can’t speak to how well this will produce worm castings but I do know that my hubby keeps asking every time he opens the freezer, “What is THIS one labeled worm food? Is there for people food in here somewhere?”

Was succeeding with a worm compost system using a wheelbarrow but was smitten with the design Epic Garden carries. It is unbelievable how my worm farm has progressed since moving them to their new home. The population is exploding and they are much happier in this enclosed shelter. This is a must for anyone that desires a simple, carefree worm farm. Excellent design.

Since moving my worms to the Urban Worm Bag they have been eating ferouciously! They're fat and happy. I tucked the worm bag into my small greenhouse and it's working great, much easier to use and maintain than the stackable design I was using. Thanks for the great product!

Once I got my worms in- I was set on this new worm journey and compost adventure!L and I love it!!!

Pros and setup... After putting my bag together, I put moistened coco coir in, let it sit for 48 hours, then added the worms. I've had it set up now for 12 days. I fed my worms initially then again 1 week later. There is no odor! I wanted my bag indoors so the only convenient place I have, in my apartment, is in my kitchen! They said there would be no odor if maintained correctly and there isn't!
Cons... I received 2 defective parts, but I contacted the Urban Worm Bag support and they immediately sent replacement parts. The cardboard box is shiny paper on the outside so I don't want to use it in recycling. I found the framing parts a little hard to push together.
Despite the cons I still give this system 5 stars. It's in my kitchen and it doesn't smell! My worms seem content. It's easy to maintain and having a 1 piece system is important to me.

Love my new friends!!! The worm bag was so easy to set up. It was easy enough for my 3 year old to help me put it together and she had a blast mixing up the bedding with me. Kevin was so helpful in answering my questions within seconds. Looking forward to harvesting my very own black gold.

Unbelievably easy to install and lightweight. No mess, no odor, and no bugs flying around because it zips up. It also comes with detailed instructions on setting it up, maintaining it, and harvesting castings. Super happy with this product.
