I have 4 of the larger birdies beds now and they are wonderful. I plan to add 2-4 per year for several years to come. The plants are easier to manage and out of the reach of rabbits, mice, etc. Each bed is producing well.

I was reading some of these reviews about the bracing and not getting enough with their Birdies containers. I didn't get any bracing I had to order the bracing for my tall Birdies container.

Let me preface by saying the bracing kit supplied with the Birdies beds worked properly, this review is about the individual Birdies Bracing Kit. Attempting to use this kit was perhaps one of the more frustrating experience’s that I have had with any hardware kit, ever. The hardware was a mismatch of thread sizes, a mixture of SAE and metric. Some of all-thread rod was SAE 5/16-18 and some was 8.5mm, the coupling nuts were 5/16-18, while the hex cap nuts are 8mm. Out of this kit I was able to 2 sections of all thread rod and 1 coupling nut. I ended up driving 10 miles to Tacoma Screw Products and purchasing the hardware that I needed to fabricate supports out of stainless-steel. My additional expense was just under $28 for materials (this does not include my time and mileage), in addition to the kits purchase cost $27.99. I did purchase additional materials, as I will be fabricating any supports that I might need in the future. I would not recommend Birdies bracing kit to anyone.

Reading other reviews, i would have to agree, both beds i got did not have enough braces. Im going to order another one very soon and see what happens with that.

I didn't realize my tail Birdies wouldn't come with it. And it didn't have enough washers and nuts. Fortunately you can go and purchase washers and nuts at a hardware store.

I would like to evaluate this item, but the raised beds I was to use them on (which I ordered over a month ago) still have not arrived nor have I received any status. Not having an EPIC experience!

Arrived very quick and was not damaged.

I was not a fan of the braces, you could get the parts at a hardware store for much cheaper. Also it didn't come with the right amount of parts for the tall raised beds, there need to be more of the short roods in the kit. Then, for the 8 in one original there needed to be more screws cause there are so many extra roods in the kit that could be used if there were more screws.

It's tough to write a review on a product the ultimately I know the Epic Gardening team didn't make. So our issues mostly weren't the result of the company.
Our bed arrived with every corner bent on every panel. It seems that maybe the box isn't structurally sound for shipping. After talking to the team who offered to replace the item or provide a discount if we kept it, we decided to keep it and bend them all back as well as possible. We figured the chance of the same shipping situation was very possible and didn't want to risk it.
So we started putting it together. Most of the holes didn't align super well, and of course the edges weren't super flat. Not a big deal with the holes for the screws but it was for the support rods, they were a good amount of work to get in. Then oddly we only got 4 caps for the 3 rods. But with 2 needed for each, we were short 2. So we headed to the store to buy more caps and washers. The team said they would ship us some but actually shipped us the screws.
We also bought another package of support rods due to how we set up the bed and wanted to be sure of no bowing occuring. This package also had 3 full rods, but just 4 caps and washers.
All in all, the item is nice, it was just a bit of a disappointment to see that we had to buy parts just to have it work.
