So far so good. I have 3 of the 6 in 1 elevated tall planters. I have them all planted and everything is going well. I have some other containers (1/2 barrels etc) also planted so we'll see how it goes. I wanted a tall round one but it was out of stock in the mist green. The convenience of these planters is hard to beat. I compared with the competition and chose these since they were made in Australia and not China. So far very pleased. They are super easy to put together and at my age I don't enjoy gardening on my knees! Love the Epic Gardening YouTube channel. If I do well this year I'll be buying more of these next year and "grow" my garden. I have plenty of space, but I find container and raised beds so much more efficient in controlling the soil composition and all other things involved in gardening as opposed to growing in the ground. I would highly recommend these planters.
Betty P.
Have several Birdie Beds and they are serving us well! Strong, functional and long-lasting.... on top of looking great! Thank you.
Cynthia R.
Arrived quickly. It was very easy assemble. Haven't gotten my soil yet but will this weekend. Love the quality. Probably should have purchased two units instead of only one. Will probably purchase another for next year.
Carsten G.
and this is the Spice Garden. Still working on the veg and I'll update once I get them going.!! LOve the Beds!!!
Donna G.
These are so perfect I can’t wait to get things in the soil so easy to put together and the perfect height. I will get so much yield from this little space. No starving on my watch !
Sherika B.
Ordered 2 beds, it took me a couple of hours to put them together by myself. They were pretty easy to assemble. Solid structure. Very easily moved to desired location after assemble.
Harmony B.
Already have basil growing! :) love it. Can’t wait to get more!!
Erol I.
Strong in structure, easy to put together
JOHN P.
Great quality and it wasn't difficult to put together.
Jennifer S.
We love our raised beds! We purchased three of the 30” tall 6 in 1 beds and they have been perfect for our gardening needs and look great in our yard. The quality of this product and the amazing customer service from this company can’t be beat. If I find I need more beds, I will definitely order from Epic Garden!
Julie F.
The beds went together well, had a little trouble with the second one but that was our fault due to uneven ground. But each box (2) was short a bolt. Plenty of extra nuts but short a bolt in each box. If you could send us 2 bolts it would be appreciated. We put cardboard, branches and chips in the bottom and raised bed soil on top, I've used this method before. Not quite time to plant yet (zone 6b) but excited for that day. Overall very pleased...❤

Received the 6-in-1 on March 29th and built on lawn next day and placed in excavation (removed about four inches of top soil to add toward top of plant) then using the Hugelkultur Method to Fill raised garden Beds. Took from a competitor who tried to order, but when learned it was made in China said I refused to purchase anything made by Chinese Communist. Then went back to my search engine dogpile.com and fortunately found the Birdies Raised Garden Beds at Epic Gardening. The Hugelkultur Method has bottom 40% Piling Logs, next 20% Branches and sticks, followed by 25% plant waste, then 10% compost with top 5% top soil which I used the Miracle-Gro Raised Bed & in-ground soil with compost. Four 50 quart bags, underneath was the top soil I had removed. Had some old logs put on bottom plus knots and other old firewood for bottom 40%. Since 1975 have been putting leaves, grass clippings, vegetable table scraps, into chicken wire enclosure supported six foot steel fence posts (probably five foot deep) taking from bottom and filling to within 12 inches of top of planter. The top 12 inches are a mixture of top soil and organic manure with last six inches the Miracle-Gro Raised bed & in ground soil. I flooded with water after about six to eight inches depth and allowed to settle before added any more material. At least 35% of depth is from my compost bed turned into soil after forty years decomposing. Waiting for 20 Fragaria Strawberry Quinalt plants to be delivered from Park Seed tomorrow (Sat May 7th). I am assuming all 20 will fit in the 3'5' by 5'0" space though that is not how park seed suggests spacing. Because have the Miracle-Gro soil am guessing enough nutrients to allow them to flourish. If I should give some plant to neighbors please advise (wpaterson42@hotmail.com). After planting and waiting a month for them to grow and start to spread I'll provide photo. BTW - just ordered GreenStalk 5 Tier Vertical Planter with Spinning Base for flowers as have numerous cottontail rabbits that really like petunias, alyssum, etc.
Christina S.
Works perfect for our tomato plants and color is just what we wanted. FedEx delivered package without incident. Came together very easily. Filled it with wood scraps, wood chipping, and compost before putting garden soil in on top. Can’t wait to see plants thrive in their new home!
Victoria F.
Can’t wait to get started! I’ve been watching your videos for advice and getting all ramped up. My neighbors are very curious as their kids tell me “my dad thinks you are weird for putting that thing in your yard”. And I can’t wait to show them why soon
Marcia D.
I love the product and working with your customer service was a pleasure. I will send pictures when its planted with vegetables.
Leonard M.
Very well made product, simple and easy to put together. The one flaw I've found is during shipping, the bag containing screws should be more secure as its prone to busting and losing a few pieces. That's an issue with shipping, not the beds themselves though. Otherwise, very durable and long lasting beds. I intend to purchase many more in the near future.
Robbie R.
Great sturdy bed and perfect height without needing to bend over. Also helpful when you need more sunshine when there are nearby fences. This taller bed helps give the plants more sun throughout the day. Only had a week or two so can’t review past that.
Tom G.
These are excellent quality raised beds. They look great, and feel very solid without being too heavy. It took a bit of patience to assemble them, but I'm very happy with the result.
Jennifer N.
Such an amazing addition to my garden. These beds are super high quality
linda s.
I got the 6 in 1 as a gift and I bought 3 of the circles and 2 of the 8 in 1's. I love them all. I love the room in the large ones but they are harder for me to assemble. I'm doing them alone and it's hard to add the sides because it's very windy. Also I am 5 feet tall and it's hard to reach over the side to add the bottom screws. I need to roll the bed over to reach the bottom screws. I ask anyone who comes by for assistance with this. I got these to make gardening easier on my back as I get older-too late, I'm 76 and should have done this at least 10 years ago. I'm shoveling a lot of dirt and compost to fill all these. I have one of each size completed and am really enjoying the ease of gardening in them. Can't wait till next year when the filling has settled and I can do some permanent planting in some of them-like my strawberries. They'll be so easy to trim and keep neat at this height - I got the 30" tall beds.
Thank you,
Linda
Rebekah N.
These beds are so versatile! We were able to use a combination of beds to fit our space perfectly! The two in front are two of the 6-1 versions that we’ll be making a tomato tunnel in, we can’t wait!
David M.
In a word, “Awesome “.
Easy to build, use a screwdriver and ratchet/socket/wrench and just while away an afternoon putting it all together.
Used a pasting table to assemble the ends and mid-panels, then sat inside the bed to finish things off.
Well made, very well packed and it looks the part when set outside.
An excellent addition to the garden.
We have 7 currently.
Bob R.
I love 'em. Two tall 6 in 1 beds. Delivery was very fast. They are easy to assemble, but do take a while with 100 screws each. They are currently being filled with various organic matter. I can't wait to plant them.
James H.
Strong and sturdy units. Easy to assemble. I have two and will be adding another.
Jonathan R.
Really sturdy and clean looking. Screwing everything in got a little tedious, but it's a one-time cost.
Sherry W.
Loving our new Birdies beds that we got from Epic Gardens! We got the 30” tall. It is so easy to weed and tend the plants. Thank you, Kevin for all the informative videos. They have been extremely helpful!
Andrew V.
Awesome product, fast shiping, easy assembly, well made and just straightup, beautiful.
Sara A.
I absolutely love my Birdie bed! Wasn't hard to put together by myself. Little tedious but really simple. I have just started to plant it but I know it will be great. Little worried about fire ants, but will see. Had a good time finding stuff in my yard for all the bottom layers and mixing soil for top. Highly recommend this kit and want more
Marcelo P.
Long time fan, first time buyer. Excited to start gardening in an area that I can grow tomatoes and cucumbers. So happy with the tall 6 in 1 that I already added a Birdies round bed.
Zachary B.
The 6 in 1 blew away all my expectations of it. Can’t wait to order more tall beds
Elvin L.
I love these beds. I just received by third bed this week. I have a fully enclosed wooden bed for veggies that the deer get into and use the raised beds for plants that the deer don't seem to like as much. I much prefer these beds as well since they're manufactured in Australia instead of China.
Paul K.
I ordered 6 in 1 raised bed prior to this order and like how the loom and their size. This time I ordered 2, 6 in 1 beds and I received a smaller version. I am happy with the product but not the size I received.
Tamara E.
Replacing some old teetering raised planting boxes with these beauties. Assembly was easy! We (ha, my husband) filled the bottom half with old logs and yard waste so things are cleaned up now in my garden area too. Getting ready to plant my sprouted seeds and see how it all works. (Will use your starters next time).
Shawn M.
Amazing raised beds! Incredible service! We are so happy with the product and our friends and neighbors are very impressed. Thank you Birdies and Epic Gardening!
Janet W.
I have 3 of these and purchased another. I am very pleased with the product. So glad these are available here. Great service.
Tina W.
I ordered two “Tall” 6 in 1 raised beds. Unfortunately I received two “original” raised beds. This is disappointing because I paid extra for the tall beds and did not receive those. The attached photo shows the boxes they sent me say they are “original “ but the shipping label states it is “tall” and it is not. I hate I paid more and did not receive what I paid for. Because my first purchase was for two tall 8 in 1 and those came just fine.
Judy H.
It was relatively easy to put together with two of us senior ladies. Like there’s no bottom in it.
Kyle M.
So far, so good. Set-up was pretty straight-forward, though with so many nuts and bolts, it did take me a little while to get it put together. If you're finicky, you'll want to pay attention to how the panels overlap - but that's aesthetic, not functional. I have to level it in my yard and then I'll be filling and planting, but so far, I'm very happy with the quality and the color of this Birdies raised bed; I'm very much looking forward to many years of gardening with it!
Steven M.
Love the birdies beds. They are so good for an area where growing in ground can be challenging.
martin c.
Great raised bed, easy to assemble, it helps to have a level platform to work from and a cordless driver
Lotorya R.
Hello!! I like this Raised Garden Bed I haven't fill it yet, making room for it. Going to order more of them.
Steven P.
Just finished in time for spring vegetables.
Bobby D.
Have only had it for a week now but love it. The round tall bed has 4 cabbage plants and a row of radish seeds planted in a ring following the edge of the bed.
Anna O.
I purchased the 6 in 1 tall raised bed this year and the assembly was extremely easy! For someone who has some back issues, putting this together was quite easy. The height is just right so I don’t have to bend over so much. I cannot wait to start growing veggies in it!
Jessica C.
It’s my first year using birdie’s raised beds and as you can see, I’ve purchased a variety! I’m very excited to use these and found them very easy to put together. All but the 30” 6-in-1, I was able to put together by myself (a 5’2” woman) in 15-45 minutes depending on the size. The beds are light enough to be able to move myself, but sturdy enough that I can bang against them with my wheelbarrow while filling. I only gave 4 stars because they are very expensive to buy & fill (use Kevin’s podcast discounts) but my mentality is that you get what you pay for- the quality of these is worth it bc I’m not anticipating buying new beds for years. So far, they’ve held against frost and rain. Here’s hoping they’ll do well this summer in southeastern US heat!
Helen H.
I Love Them. Not really hard to put together. Can't wait until I afford more.
Elizabeth H.
Easy to put together. Needs a more emphatic warning and instructions about taking the plastic off. I had to take two pieces apart when I realized how to get it off.
Elizabeth F.
I’m in love with my renewed garden! I used four 6-in-1 tall and one 6-in -1 original to create this walk in garden. I made two long beds, roughly 7.75x3 ft, and two 2x2 beds with the remaining corner pieces. The original bed in it’s longer configuration.
Can’t wait to start planting!
Marcos S.
I found out about Birdies Raised beds on utube channel with his little dog tucker. Then I can across your videos in San Diego with all your Birdies Raised beds and just got hooked to the look and the ease of the higher 30 inch bed. I bought the 6-1 bed and built it with 2ft by 5ft version to fit neat in my backyard outside my Greenhouse. Took me a good hour to build but well worth it. Decided to do the hugoculture bed method but still waiting till spring time to fill the rest with Coots soil recipe on top. Will be purchasing more soon. Thanks Kevin ✌️
Helen H.
I'm so excited to get this ready to plant. It arrived on the morning of Feb. 11, 2022 and I put it together that day. I'm almost 79 yrs old and can see that this 30 inch tall bed will make gardening easier from now on.
Jillian R.
Easy to assemble (though yes, mildly time consuming due to all the bolts- but quality materials for sure that should last a lifetime) super sturdy! Was surprised at how well they maintain moisture on the surface for carrot seed starts.. already growing carrots, peas and leeks in our two beds. Cannot wait to order some more as back saving and higher productivity in our back yard garden.
Esther K.
So excited to be using these beauties this growing season!!! They were so easy to construct and get up and running and totally using Kevins recommendations on how to fill them! Can’t wait to see how it goes!
Brittani D.
I got the 6 cell seed starters and was amazed at how thick they are!
Steven P.
I first took note of these watching YouTube (the Aussie on "Self Sufficient Me") and thought of replacing my low to the ground beds with beds I could work more comfortably standing up. I debated whether to boil my own or buy from Epic Gardening. After a little thought, it seemed just as inexpensive and a lot more convenient to purchase these from Epic Gardening. I had a shed full of logs, and this seemed a great use for them rather fire logs. since my initial purchase I am l planning to add some more.
Donald J.
love the beds i put together 6 tall beds and didnt cut myself that never happens i always find a way to bleed on any project i like the look and im sure i will be ordering more i also recomend to anybudy i know wanting a garden
Cindy M.
We love our garden container
Catherine J.
Very please, can't wait to see it in my garden!
Timothy W.
Went together nicely, even had a few extra fasteners. Too early for planting here but do have filled with logs, mulch, and soil .
Eve B.
Unfortunately I broke my arm after ordering and before these arrived. Based on looking (longingly) at them, they seem high quality and I’m looking forward to using them later this year.
Cole S.
We just purchased our first home and it happened to come with a clay tennis court. Being perfectly level, fenced in, and containing an underground irrigation system we decided to convert the area into a “raised garden bed court”!
Bradley A.
We received this product in a timely manner, I have not unboxed it yet, because it’s below freezing where I live. The box was in good shape and did not appear damaged.
Todd N.
I ordered 6 slate gray 6 in one tall planters, some how I got a cream colored one, irritated at first, now I like the “diversity”.
Sara S.
Went together beautifully! I bought four to get my vegetable garden going. I'm tall so the height is really going to save my back come spring. I'm very pleased with the quality and customer service is top notch.
Leigh S.
Easy to assemble and looks beautiful.
Jericho L.
Finally put together my birdies, after several emails from epicgardening, quite easy to assemble! I prepped the ground with landscape fabric of course, then, laid some old pavers I had, someone tipped me on this to prevent ground squirrels from digging underneath to steal produce! My handy gardener delivered some oraganic mulch to fill in the bed, saved me from several trips to buy soil mulch etc, then it’s time to plant. Et Voila! Of course I’ve planted more stuff from this initial picture!
Alan P.
The first three beds went up like a charm. Filled them back in September and they are all ready for the 2022 growing season (see pic). This last bed I ordered will have to wait two or three months before assembly. The conditions outside are not quite conducive for assembly and filling (four inches of snow on the ground and current temp of negative 15F). Thank you so much for all the work you have done to get these to us in spite of the cargo shipping issues.
Looking forward to our first planting and harvest!
Alan.
Timothy A.
Its' winter time right now too cold to put it together.
Thalia D.
I've begun to plan my garden and each month a hope to purchase a Birdie garden bed. I am sure that I will be happy with the results. I follow Epic Gardening to learn more about techniques and tips. Great videos!
Susan F.
We love Birdies Beds! We have several now and still want more!
This is our thornless blackberry’s new home
Ellen T.
filled it will cut up branches from an oak tree and mulch scraped up from the yard. Topped with good garden soil and planted.
Lori B.
Replacing wood beds that have been in place for several years. Looking forward to having taller beds to avoid bending over. Like the neat appearance. They were easily installed and we were able to fit them over the previous beds by just digging the layout over the old beds.
Lori R.
Thus a nice sturdy garden bed that will obviously last for years.
Rachel D.
I invested the money into this product because I believe them to be the best on the market. I wasn't too sore about the delay in shipping, but I am frustrated when they finally arrive and I realize the packaging is compromised and I am missing hardware. For the quality and price, they should be packaged correctly and not sound like a loose box of silverware while leaking parts.
Dale P.
This is the regular 6 in 1. We are using them as. Pen for our giant turtle. Awesome beds.
Jake H.
I love this bed! These things are manufactured so well and are so sturdy. The height is a game changer for your back and for keeping pests away. My in-ground bed has all kinds of problems with cabbage moths that my Birdies raised beds amazingly don't seem to have. I have both of my Birdies beds set up as hugelkultur beds, and their rigid sides handle all that heavy, oddly shaped wood and organic matter without any difficulty, bending, or bowing. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend or anyone wanting to do gardening where they don't have to bend over the whole time. And to boot, they're lovely looking!
Nicola L.
Just the beginning we will see how this goes
Robin M.
We've set up 7 of these beds and love that they're at a height that allows us to do more in the garden, for longer! Beautiful color that looks nice enough to be a part of our landscape, without taking it over.
Eric B.
The beds are great. I was able to install one of three already and daughter and wife are so excited for next years growing season. They both want to help with the garden now that we have tall beds.
Monica W.
This are amazing! I built these on my own- super easy! An extra set of hands will make it go faster. The box even fit in my Smart car. I have a set of a different brand I got at the home depot, the Birdie's quality blows it away! The fit of the panels are so much better, better quality hardware, modular option are great. I love the slate color cannot wait to see what it will look like with the color of the plants and flowers.
I have 2 more 8-1 beds I just put together and plan on ordering 2 beds more to complete the garden.
Customer service at Epic Gardening is fantastic! Thanks Kris! My 1st bed was missing 2 bolts- they sent me a bag of hardware right way. The 2nd had an extra corner piece that I am returning.
I just built 2 8-1 Original beds today. The directions were different than the ones I previous had from the 6-1 Tall and thru me off a bit with the measurements on the diagram. I laid out the pieces on the ground remeasured and the info from the website was right and matched my original plans. The 8-1's did not come with the little wrench tool the 6-1 Tall's had.
I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend Birdie's products and Epic Gardening's service.
Maisha T.
Love this bed! Prepared it yesterday for Spring 2022 planting. It is extremely lightweight, easy to put together and very study when filling and it complements the colors of the house. I can’t wait to use it. I will be ordering another!
Arnetta A.
I’m sorry I haven’t assembled it yet.
Richard E.
1st time gardeners and excited to try these raised beds. They're easy to put together... just lots of screws. Glad they supplied plenty of extras in case we lost some.
Now the fun starts with filling them and getting them ready for planting.
We're definitely going to buy some more.
James F.
Best metal raised beds, bar none. This is my 5th Birdie's beds, and don't want to use any other brand. My originals are over 7 yrs old, and show zero wear. Easy to assemble, keep their good looks, and help me grow veggies....what's not to like?
Donald J.
went together well like the look and the height alows me to work on it without getting down on my knees
Timothy A.
I have it put together and full of soil just waiting for spring to start.
Patricia P.
Just tighten the last screw! So far love this large sturdy container. It will make a perfect addition to my container garden. Definitely will purchase more.
Thanks!
Kathryn G.
We will be adding 1 more 6-in-1 to our group. We are implementing hugelkulture so are in the process of preparing these Birdies for Spring planting. So excited to finally have them in place!
Judith W.
Excellent customer service, gorgeous product! Thank you!!
Alex S.
Fall garden in Arizona desert. Birdies are easy to put up and make gardening very enjoyable and fun!
Rita P.
After placing my order, I Had to wait a really long time to receive it. So I was unable to try it out this growing season. I look forward to using it next Spring. Love the look and it was easy to assemble.
Will L.
We love the Birdy- Keep up the good work Kevin
Karen G.
The photo shows my first bin, which has produced many peppers! The one I recently bought is beige, because I forgot to take the time to pick the correct color! The hugelkulture (spelling?) method of filling the bin worked well, although the soil sank about six inches! I have loaded the new bin up the same way, but won’t add new potting soil until spring, when I am ready to plant!

Phase 4, raised beds, “American Philosophic.”
After ordering our Birdies, (https://shop.epicgardening.com) raised beds in May, they finally arrived mid October, (I guess there IS a supply chain bottleneck) we have finally put 5 of them together. The dead trees/shrubs from last year’s 7° below zero weather was cleared and has now turned into #Hügelkultur. We have replaced the dead with new life. Fayetteville has a compost facility that sells it’s black gold at around $25 per scoop. It is now just a matter of weeks before we can start feeding ourselves, friends and strangers. That’s the plan anywho. The fact remains, the more gardening we all try, the more food prices will drop. It is one way we can win, I think. It’s healthier in that we know what we are eating, it’s good exercise, good for the environment and our mental resolve.

Great quality, attractive, and easily assembled. Now I just need to wait for spring to arrive.
Randall C.
I love my Birdies Beds. They make it easy to get vertical variation in the garden.
Lauren S.
We bought four of the 6-in-1 birdies bed and absolutely love them. They’re sturdy, well made, and the height is fantastic. Will be buying more in the future.
Judy C.
Obviously my butternut squash plant loves his new home in a raised bed. The other squash that I planted in the ground isn't even ankle high and has only produced one sad flower all season.
